** -- moderately geeky. Spent all day yesterday undoing a bad design and refactoring it to be more extensible/reusable/generic. It was a good, productive day but, externally, all you can see is I got everything back to the way it was last week, and nothing new is broken! -- so it =looks= like I didnt do anything, feature-wise. Im spending all day today -- and probably a fair bit of tomorrow -- doing a similar refactor in another area (un-special-casing a thing that doesnt need to be a special case, so it can be a generic object, just like everything else.) So, my features & bugs changes after almost a week (once I finish this one) will be nothing is different. The reason its worth it is because I turned the rocky, bumpy, difficult road ahead of me into clean, smooth, shiny-black skateboard-able pavement. Its gonna be sweet! :)
