- I might not agree with Javed Hashmi on many counts, but one thing that no one can deny, is the fact that he is one of those few Pakistani politicians whove placed principles above personal gain. Hashmi is the person who spent more than 5 years in prison and suffered tortured at the hands of a Musharrafs regime, just because he refused to join hands with Musharraf. Hashmi is the person who left the party that hed been a part of for more than two decades on a matter of principle. Hashmi is one of those few people who gave a public apology for supporting Zias regime. And yesterday again, Hashmi has shown that he places his principles above anything else when he shred Imran Khan to pieces for his oafishness and stubbornness. Imran Khans decision to sack him as the President of PTI (even though he was elected by the party himself, unlike IK) shows Imrans dictatorial traits. While the subsequent vilification of Hashmi by Youthiyas prove the fact that PTI is nothing more than a a cult of Imran Khan.
