- If you are not broken, you cannot be used. Provoking and a strong statement. How can we not be broken as Christians, living in a broken world? How can we not suffer as Christians today, living in a world of sufferings? Phil 1.29: - For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him, Phil 3.10: - I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, Paul the great apostle said: 2 Corinthians 12.10: - That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Phil. 1.21: - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. It is estimated about 5 – 7 % Christians in Europe today, a Church desperate in need of restoration and revival. Still in most Churches you find praise, worship and laughter and satisfied Christians. Could it be that the Church of today not are willing to take part in the suffering of Christ, but more the glory and joy? Are we on the same page as God? I don’t think so. The spotless Bride is not a bride that does not know suffering, hardships and pain. The Bride of Christ is well known with suffering, hardships and pain. And if the bride is not, she is not The Bride of Christ. Brokenness is a choice, suffering is a choice, but it is not, if you want to be a true follower of Christ Jesus. But, it is where you find the greatest joy and glory, because it is His joy and glory you get to share in that place.
