- Some general facts we may need to know: 1) Ethiopia, Uganda, Burundi, and Djabouti are all part of AMISOM mission in Somalia, yet they havent been hit by terrorists as much and hard as we. 2) Since KDF joined AMISOM, there has been a total of #87 terror attacks in Kenya so far, with more than #80 occurring under the Jubilee govt. 3) Al-Shabab did declare war on (the whole of) Kenya, and not only on Nairobi and Mombasa. 4) Al-Shabab have always targetted places that are overcrowded, to maximize casualties while usually using heavy weaponry (not less-crowded buses or hotel lobby). 5) Their capabilities to co-ordinate and carry out attacks in Somalia has been greatly weakened by AMISOM, let alone in Kenya. 6) They have a rather-bizarre history of claiming responsibility for their cowardly attacks, while even promising more to come. - Thus, linking the current spate of violence to the Al-Shabab is, of least, a rather stupid and mis-placed boost to their (now limited) propaganda of violence, let alone using religious extremism as the usual scape-goat.
