-HOW IT ALL BEGAN- Jerry Stryker posted... How it all started. I was maybe 8 or 9 that summer, and as I stood on the sidewalk by our house, I heard something. I turned and watched a guy on a motorcycle slow down for the corner. He looked over at me, and winked, then powered through the corner. I remember thinking “That’ll be me someday.” The next thought I had was “could I fit a motor of some kind on my bicycle?” The love of two wheels was born that day, and has never stopped. Some days, when the sun is positioned just right, and it throws my shadow beside me on the road, where I can see it... well that guy I saw that day still rides beside me. I learned the Code way back from a patch-holder who saw fit to take a kid on a 350 Honda under his wing. I always try to nod and make eye contact with the kids, because you never know. M L H & R J.
