State health officials have less than a year to navigate a complex web of patient registration, drug manufacturing and distribution before getting medical marijuana into patients hands. In Minnesota, the task falls to Michelle Larson, director of the states Office of Medical Cannabis. Her job is to make sure the program runs smoothly enough to register patients and provide them with medication by the state-mandated July deadline.
