-SAFETY CONCERN- (In Korea, Not USA) -NOT in USA Ive been sent information from Korean owner in regards to possible defect with Genesis Airbags and may be with Kia as well. It is stated that this information is for Vehicles in Korea only at this time but figured I would give everyone a heads up, just to be safe. Please all, wear your seatbelts, do not rely on your airbags, even though there is no known issue, I dont ever want to hear of something happening to one of you and yours. This is Not meant for Alarm as it has not happened here in the USA, but I prefer to be cautious to be safe. Below is photos sent to me of a Genesis after an accident. Driver did Not survive. In the photos, None of the 11 airbags deployed. This is an issue that has been brought to my attention more than once in the last 2 months and I feel it needs to be noted. Thank you Song Byung for expressing your concern, and keeping us connected to the Korean Market. This accident was not recent, but still should be noted.
