-Thursday, Aug. 28 (DATE, TIME CHANGE. Due to the Transformation Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, this meeting has been moved to Thursday): Parents of students interested in playing any fall or winter sport at Humphreys High School will need to attend a meeting, from 5-6:30 p.m., in the auditorium. The student-athletes may also attend. Athletic Director Tess Sterling will begin the meeting with specifics about all sports at HHS. Representatives for each fall and winter sport will speak specifically about the requirements for their sport and give some guidelines. A short Q&A will follow. These sports will be represented: Football, Volleyball (Boys & Girls), Tennis, Cross Country, Cheer, Basketball (Boys & Girls) and Wrestling. They are also seeking parents who are interested in starting a Humphreys High School Athletic Booster Club. This organization will raise money for sport letters, banquets and awards.
