The new album, titled Etapo na Money, will be ready for distribution online only and not in Cameroon on October 15, 2014. Cameroonians in Cameroon will only have videos in Volumes One and Two released at different intervals after December of 2014 only. Cds will not be sold in Cameroon because of the cost involve in replicating things that many Orokos do not buy. The cds shall be available online through cdbaby, itunes, spotify, amazon and many other cd distribution outlets all over the world. Our goal of presenting this cd on a world stage as opposed to only the Oroko and Cameroon markets, is to introduce the Oroko culture and music to the world. Ndinga Marvingaye is a native of Mbakwa Supe. He is a father of six. The wife, Betondi Marian is from Dikome Balue. They live in Kumba. Before joining the coveted Nanje Music Production, Inc. he had an album titled Maluka from his previous production company 10years ago. We have taken the lead track of that album and changed it in a way that reflects the true Oroko culture and traditions bringing the acclaimed Betondi James to boost the track. Check it out for yourself by click the link below. https://soundcloud/nanje-music-production/maruka This album of 10 solid tracks also boast of Phembe as one of the most prominent tracks in it in which the artist recounts some of the difficulties the Oroko children are confronted with daily as they struggle to educate themselves in very brutal conditions. He concludes that the Oroko children survive these brutal conditions as a result of the blessings (phembe or Fembe) from their parents and from God. Listen https://soundcloud/nanje-music-production/phembe-master There are about 300,000 t0 400,000 Oroko people in the world. If only 5.000 of them could purchase the cd they must have contributed in enhancing the culture they so cherish and, it will encourage the survivability of Oroko artists and producers like myself to continue in the production of music we can easily identify with. The experience the production company and Betondi James had in the Ngomo Ya Malle album is one that I do not wish to recount here. We are determined to avoid similar mistakes with Ndinga Marvingaye and his Etapo na Money and even subsequent production. Reply Delete Add to this conversation...
