1.Background Cambodian Institute for Specialties (CIS) was founded in 2002 then if was changed the name CUS in 2004. The main campus of CUS is located, in the heart of Phnom Penh capital has emerged on the most public concentrated area around Boeungkok lake and also along the Tonle Basac river in Khan Ruessei Keo. Geographical Location At the distance of 314 kilometers on the Northwest of Phnom Penh stands Siem Reap, the province which is bodered to Udar Mean Chey on the North, Preah Vihear on the Northeast, Kampong Thom on the Southeast, Tonle Sap on the South, Battambang on the Southwest and Banteay Mean Chey on the Northwest. Siem Reap had been an ancient capital of Angkorian state since the beginning of the 9th century. The state was prosperous with sophisticated irrigation system that made use of the tidal range of Tonle Sap water. In the same year, the Tourism Industry in Siem Reap has provided work to many people in term of accommodation, restaurants, travel agencies, transportation companies, souvenir shops and the like. Second, the district has good access in air, land and water surface. Third, for the mentioned above, the district has received favor policy support from the Cambodian government. Education Focus The focus is the societal development which means participation of populace for learning and the development of knowledge and skills regardless of gender and ethnic origin. Therefore, Siem Reap was chosen to position a branch in order to help students save money and time, and also provide female students the opportunity for further study. Siem Reap campus provides better educational quality in Vocational Training, Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree, from which several vital skills are offered through the faculties of Business Management, Education & Languages, Information Technology & Engineering, and Law. Apart from the faculties mentioned as Siem Reap is the tourist destination, the university run an intensified program in Tourism with market driven curriculum.
