1 Corinthians 1:10-13 *Churches Divided Over Leaders* 10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[ a ] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas[b ]”; still another, “I follow Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? *Do you know that this is what happening in our churches nowadays? From what i know way churches were one body way back but now it seems each church its own body duel to leaders who felt superior than the others and we having situations like where one church is better than the other, this preacher of this powerful than the other etc but why is all this taking stage when we all belong to one sovereign God the creator of the heavens and earth is the reason why all dis temples were created, but now we churches talking about bad others churches men of God calling each others names shame. according to verse 12 some said we following Paul, some said we following Cephas and others said we following Apollos this what am seing today in our churches since others are Catholic, Pentecost , Apostlic, Baptist, Sabbath or UCZ etc whatever church we belong to and now there preferancial treatments in learning institutions, work places, neighbourhoods etc depending on what church you come and who so ever in charge which church they come from but why all dis??? lets unite as one family which we already are but tring to segregate ourselves. Aftanun fam stay blessed.. #JesusOwened #Team1000 #160 #J.O.E #C.A @thee_garage
