1. I think I started having grocery sticker shock about five years ago, and it never went away. Even if Im buying the good stuff, $17.50 for milk and kitty litter is nuts. 2. I am fascinated by inter-species bird buddies. I often see Wood Storks with Roseate Spoonbills, and sometimes Great Egrets with Great Blue Herons. Right now, there is a Great Egret and a Roseate Spoonbill who have been hanging out at the I-75 onramp for a week. 3. If your Spousal Unit offers to do the prep work for your cooking, for heavens sake, say yes. Bill has been offering for ages, and I just did it myself anyway, because either he wasnt around, or I thought Id be faster. Like faster matters. Last night, I took him up on it. Yeah, he was slower than I, but much neater, and it was SO NICE to have all that done for me. Everything was ready, I just got to dig in and play. We have food for a week. 4. I have been hankerin for a best friends fall in love book. Any suggestions, Mari, Silence, Cari? And except for Cari, your books dont count, because Im caught up on all of them.
