1 John 2:28 and now, little children, abide in him: that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. ~~ this is my prayer for the church, the people of God that we would abide in him. Its staying connected to the vine that we truly live. As we abide in him, he begins to change our nature, our thought processes, and empowers us to live the kingdom life on Earth. It is my prayer that each one of us come to understand the reality of eternity and that one day each of us will give an account of how we lived this life on earth and what we did with the giftings and talents that God has given us. We do not want to stand before a holy, living God and be found lacking. We dont want to be ashamed because we didnt give it everything we have. It is my prayer and desire that each one of us live lives that bring him glory and fame. We are not living for the temporal things that are seen but we are living for eternity. Father, strengthen your people today that they might run their race in a way that is pleasing to you. Open the eyes of their understanding that they might see with a clarity that directs their every step. Remove blinders and hindrances that keeps them in places of limitation and let each one come into encounters with you that changes their life forever. Restore all that has been stolen and let passion, faith, strength, and joy rise up within your people today. In Jesus name.
