1 Peter 2:7-8 Yes, you who trust him recognize the honor God has given him. But for those who reject him,“The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.” And,“He is the stone that makes people stumble, the rock that makes them fall. ”They stumble because they do not obey God’s word, and so they meet the fate that was planned for them. Jesus being the cornerstone, the only way to God, that is hard for many as they approach God. They are willing to accept and believe in God as long as they are able to come to Him on their own terms. Our God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has revealed Himself in these last days through His Son Jesus, and there is no way around Him. There is no compromise when it comes to what you think about Christ; He either is the Son of God or He is not. God knows already who will believe in His Son, and who will reject Him.
