1 Thessalonians 3:10 (NIV) - Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith. Today’s commentary by Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org It is important to note that none of us has the full package of faith toward God. We need others to come and fill in what is lacking. This understanding is both humbling and empowering. Humbling in that we don’t want to admit that we have blind spots or weaknesses. Empowering in that we can gain so much more from others with their perspectives and help. This built in diversity is what makes the community healthy, and we grow in ways that we would never have expected.
