1. Total area of irrigated land increased from 7 L hectares to 25 L hectares, for a state that is primarily dependent on agriculture, resulting in about 19% growth rate in agri output. 2. Indias largest solar power plant on 305 hectares of land generating 130 MW 3. Road network, including all all-weather village roads expanded to 90,000 Kms and industrial investment (including the ones still under construction) has increased tenfold, from Rs.7,935 crore to Rs.84,700 crore. These with many more successfully implemented social schemes got Shivraj Singh Chauhan elected for the third time in a row with pro-incumbency votes. In spite of being constantly compared with BJPs prime ministerial candidate Modi, Chauhan has time and again categorically stated that he wishes to work for the state and is not in the race for PM, the fact that BJP has many PM candidates who have risen through the ranks and proved their mettle in successfully governing a state as opposed to the dynastic succession or publicity stunts; is what I consider making a truly democratic choice of PM on whoever they have chosen, though Chauhan remains my preferred choice as the PM candidate! ~ from a message received
