1/ Wondering when parents decided to take down their baby gates on stairs? What age were your little ones when you decided it was time for them to perfect their stair climbing/descending skills? My first born son is 26 months (been walking for a year) and we are moving into a new place that has carpeted stairs.. am planning on having a gate that I can move from top to bottom as needed but am worried about being too protective and holding him back from learning the skill.. but dont want to do it too soon and let him get hurt! Advice would be much appreciated. 2/ My 2 year old daughter will be going to get grommets in, adenoids and tonsils removed in a couple of weeks. I was looking for advice/ tips from parents whos children have had this done, what were your children like afterwards and what can I do to make her more comfy, not looking for medical advice, just little things for her like types of food ect. Also I have a 9 month old, should I get my mum to watch her overnight so I can just focus on my other daughter? Not sure what to expect.
