If you read the About information for this group, you will know that Im not just raising money for breast cancer. I am specifically raising money to honor the memory of a friend who passed away from breast cancer a few months ago. LeeAnn was a beautiful soul and deeply touched so many people that knew her. She lit up a room with her smile (well possibly even a whole neighborhood....but I think that just is a Riese thing....they all have gigantic beautiful smiles)! I grew up with her and her brother, Aaron, on the same block. Today our parents still live in the same houses. We all see each other often. They are a special family and losing LeeAnn at 39 years old was tremendously difficult for everyone, but especially for her young boys. Last November the organization, Inheritance of Hope, took LeeAnn and her boys on a family vacation to New York City so that they could spend quality, stress free time together as they faced their difficult future knowing that sometime soon they would be without their mother. By donating this money, we will allow another family to have the same experience that LeeAnn and her boys received. $1000 will fund an experience for one child.
