1 year ago, this weekend, I took ownership of the building we are in now, & along side of my husband, family, & friends, started the 3 1/2 month process of renovating the building. It has been an incredible journey that is leading to a future of success thanks to all the incredible people in my life. Incase you missed it, here is the "Thank You" release that was put out during our grand opening: Words cannot possible express the gratitude I feel towards the people that have helped and supported me all these years. I would not be where I am at today without the amazing help offered by so many people. So let’s get started…… • To Brian and Wanda Dean - You were great landlords to me as I started this journey 5 years ago. Fresh out of beauty school and newly married, I hadn’t a clue what I was getting in to! I hope our friendship continues for years to come. • To Joe and Pam Verhoff – For offering me to purchase this building and working with me to make it happen. Small Town Friendships are the best! • To Jason Thornell and The Union Bank – Again, Thanks for making this happen, and in terms I can understand! • To Andy Sarka and the crew from Sarka Electric for doing the plumbing and electrical work. • To Josette Brinkman, owner of Signed by Josette, for creating and constructing the signage around the salon. • To Buckeye Custom Fab, of Kalida, for making the beautiful sign holder on the outside of the building. • To Bob Corson and Cody Kleman for helping me with my computer needs. By the way – I still need more help!! • To Jim Stimmel for not getting electrocuted while helping hang all the lights! Your company is always enjoyed! • To the one person that I know can do anything that is asked of him – Ken Stechschulte!! Your talent is nothing short of magnificient. Thank you for working all hours of the night and on weekends. • To my Uncle Kev Kreinbrink for doing all the drywall, plastering, painting and wall papering. You have worked countless hours for me and I appreciate it more than I can say. You are the BEST! • To my family and friends that helped at the salon, loved on Lincoln while we couldn’t, or ran errands for us…..Grandma Kreinbrink, Mom and Dad Yarnell, Randy Webken, Michelle and Cody Kleman, Ron Heitmeyer, Sharon and Curtis Farthing, Ann and Kev Miller, Lisa, Dan, Craig and Kylie Rieman, Steve & Kelly Yarnell, Jeff and Stephanie Larcom…..Your help means the world to me!! I hope to someday be able to repay you in the help that was offered to me. • Mom & Dad, I have consumed so much of your time and energy since this project started. You both have worked SO hard helping me & teaching me (If I ever have to frame up walls, I think I can figure it out). Dad I know there were many days you had farming to do & was just plain tired but you showed up with your tool belt on (minus one hammer and a needle nose pliers). I look up to both of you so much and mean it when I say I hope I’m half as wonderful to my children as you both are to me. • The Farthing kids, Morgan, Audrey, Paige, and Grant – Thank you for laying the Penny Floor. You did an incredible job – I LOVE IT, and so does everyone that sees it!! 26,000 pennies and 10 hours later is a job that would have taken my self a week to finish. Thanks to Tahlor Kreinbrink for re-rolling the unused pennies!! • To my workers at the salon, – YOU ARE THE BEST – I cannot possible give you the Thanks you deserve. The fact that you were all able to pack up at the old salon and move everything here in a single afternoon is unbelievable. Thanks for bearing with me, the mess, and working though all the kinks the past month. Your support and help never, ever goes unnoticed and I’m SO happy each and every one of you are with me and represent my business. • To my wonderful husband Jeff – I am sure he had no idea the package deal he was in for when marring me!! He has been my rock, my best supporter. I LOVE YOU JEFF. Thank you for everything you do for me, in supporting my dream and for being the best daddy in the world. Now lets go on VACATION!!! • And last, but most important, our Clients. As the saying goes, “Without you, none of this would be possible” but you mean so much more to me than that. Honestly, everyone one of you have walked into my life as a stranger, but left as (and remain) a friend. I hope I always am deserving of your friendship.
