1 year ago today at 2:37 a.m. I gave birth to the most precious, handsome, 8 lb. 11 oz blue eyed baby boy. I named you Ezekiel. Which means god will strengthen, which he does every single day. Quit fitting for you, if you ask mommy. Over the past year I have watched you develop your own personality. You give the best cuddles, and your belly laughs are to die for. Mommy has poured her heart and soul into giving you everything you could possibly need, and to try to teach you to be a lover. Your innocence and love you continue to show me I will never take for granted. Your wonder and awe of everything around you never ceases to amaze me. You see everything for what it is as a whole without any other thought. You are so completely present in every situation and because of that you are able to appreciate the little things so fully. You are continuously teaching me something new and wonderful. Every day when I wake up and see your beautiful face I am inspired to become a better mom and a better person. I can only imagine what amazing things you will do and accomplish in the future, because at just one-year-old you are living life to the fullest. Zekey, mommy loves you with all her heart.
