10.08.14 Peaceful Protest at HMP Wakefield against the disgraceful incident of physical abuse suffered by Munir Farooqi, the irresponsible and incompetent staff at HMP Wakefield who deliberately failed to prevent and stop this attack quick enough which lead to Munir being left very badly bruised! Also HMP Wakefield have been ddeliberately neglecting Munirs health which is vital as he is diabetic neglecting his health will lead to loss of sight and mobility of legs which clearly seems to us that this is their intent. Therefore, WE DEMAND ANSWERS and know that FAROOQI IS N♡T ALONE! A HUGE thank you from the bottom of our hearts to every individual who joined the protest today from London, Leicester, Rochdale, Sheffield, Dewsbury, Manchester, Bolton, Wakefield etc. Please continue to spread the word until Munir Farooqi, the victim of a serious miscarriage of justice, is a FREE MAN! The SHAMEFUL HMP Wakefield have been delaying Farooqis legal visit since his assault in prison which has been at least two weeks now!! There is a potential legal visit booked for tomorrow. Lets see if they allow his solicitor access tomorrow, a basic right! If not, then we shall be there in protest again next week and urge everyone to write to the governer asap.
