10-11yr Grade Gelding for Sale! 800$ dramatic price drop due to no fault of his. We just need to sell him quick! He would make an awesome ranch horse, reins very well, quick back, soft mouth, knows his rope and cow. He has been used to move cows over the winter and was previously used in a feedlot and in the branding pen. He is worth a lot more than what we are selling him for but I have just ran into some health issues and am the only one who rides in my family, and with our baby due I dont want him to sit for another summer without a job. We have hauled him to a kids camp, and I have had beginners ride on him, but that said I dont think he is a beginners horse at the moment since he has not been used very much in the last year. I think if a family wanted to pick him up and put some miles on him he would make a great all around 4-H or junior rodeo horse. He knows both leads and will do a flying lead change, is super easy to load, will side pass, open gates, back and has a nice working trot and canter and some speed if asked. I cant say enough good things about him and do not want to get rid of him but its not fair to let him just sit around and not get used. His only quirks are he tends to be a bit nervous sometimes, and doesnt like to be left in the pen. Has no problems being rode off from the other horses just doesnt like the other horses riding away from him, and he is also not the biggest fan of bathes and being sprayed down but will not kick out or rear up or do anything stupid or dangerous. He has never offered to buck, rear, and hasnt tried to roll under the saddle. In short he is a horse, and has more good days than bad and would make anyone a good ride and at a bargain!
