10/20/2013 Good Sunday morning all you wonderful folks in our wonderful world. I skipped saying good morning yesterday but, I hope y’all had a great day. I started out yesterday AM going to different collision repair shops. My little car was a victim of a parking lot hit and run. UGH!! Repair costs are awful, even with the deductible. Anyway, no one was in my car so no one was hurt and the other person must not have been hurt either. Today is another beautiful day that will be full of happy things for all of us. We have the chance to embrace all the wonderful people and things in our lives. Here are #6 and #7 in our “love ourselves” project: #6 we should gently exercise the physical body.” I guess we should start out stretching, do some minor exercises and then work up to more challenging exercises. I’ve heard this is not only good for the physical body but also helps push new blood to the brain. #7 says to “be totally clear and focused when engaging the mind for specific functions and purposes. It is a machine which must be operated consciously. Do not allow it to run unattended.” (both by Barbara Felder) I feel that #6 and #7 go together. When we exercise we chase out all the cobwebs from our minds and that allows us to focus on whatever we need to. Of course the exercising is another way of “loving” ourselves because we are taking care of the wonderful body we were given at birth. Remember we need to check ourselves out in a mirror and enforce that we are wonderful, happy, loving folks. Also, when we go out in the world, we need to thank Mother Nature for working with God to give us this land, sky, lakes/oceans, and air. While going about our daily activities, we need to be mindful of other drivers, other people and all the activity around us and spread the love and happiness in our physical/mental bodies. Be careful and safe, keep smiling and loving. Have a great day. .e
