10/29/2014: Siaka Fact #28. From 1st through 8th grade, my grammar school only had 2 male teachers; the computer teacher and one of the 6th grade teachers. I only had both of them on a part time basis and therefore never really had any male teachers until my freshman year at PREP. For better or worse, it definitely helped how I developed in school and helped me appreciate having male teachers and professors in high school and college. Many of whom became mentors and I still keep in touch with today.
