Dot the is and cross the ts by being organized and ready, treat officials, coaches and opponents with respect. 2. Remember, win or lose, good calls or bad calls, it is just a game after all. And its definitely not the World series. 3. Remember to talk about what went well, the things you liked, the personal accomplishments made by team and players, MORE than you talk about what went wrong. 4. Develop thick skin, and a deaf ear toward those that sit behind the fence. You got this. ;) 5. Remember if you win you are a hero and everyone loves you, if you lose, well.....not so much. Take it all in with a grain of salt. 6. Encourage your players to HAVE FUN! Then, encourage them to have some more fun. Girls play better when they are having fun. 7. Trust your gut. This aint your first rodeo! 8. Trust that you TAUGHT the game well during practice. 9. The outcome doesnt BELONG to you, one way or the other. But it can be used to enhance your next practice. 10. Give everyone a chance, treat all the kids equally, and remember that sometimes, a simple teeny tiny word or nod of encouragement from you, can make the biggest difference in the life of a kid.
