$10: It could win you the championship ring of two-time basketball Hall of Famer, Bill Sharman. It will help local charities including Providence TrinityCare Hospice Foundation. Southern California sports legend Bill Sharman passed away on October 25, but his memory will live on for many, many years. Earlier this year, Bill donated his own personal 2010 Lakers Championship ring for a raffle, with all funds raised donated to local Southern California charities, including Providence TrinityCare Hospice Foundation. The raffle continues with the drawing set for November 22. Bill was a two-time NBA Hall of Fame player and coach, and he coached the 1972 Lakers to a record 33-game winning streak and an NBA championship. He remained part of the organization over the last three decades, as general manager, team president, and consultant. The winner of the raffle will receive the ring, made of custom 16KT gold, as well as a cash prize of over $8,000 to offset the tax liability that results from winning the ring. Plus two premium tickets to a Lakers game. You dont need to be present at the November 22 drawing to win. Every $10 will give you five chances to own a wonderful piece of Lakers history and Bills legacy. Please pass this along to your family and friends, especially if they are sports fans but even if theyre not. Its a great cause, and a tribute to a great man. Tickets are just $2 each, with a minimum purchase of 5. billsringofhope
