10 OClock Teacher Question! Andrea writes: I want to try a classroom economy system with my fourth graders this year. My goal is to incorporate the financial literacy components of the Common Core, teach kids about real life responsibility with classroom jobs, but NOT to use extrinsic rewards. I want the things they use their money on to be real life, and necessary for our classroom. Can you share if youve tried a similar classroom economy and any advice, successes, or failures? Thank you!
