10 of 25 Largest Nonprofit Hospitals are Catholic. Government affiliated and subsidized. People choose hospitals in their area. Dont even know the religious affiliation of bureaucrats. Because of Hospital restrictions, patients cannot make decisions w their own Doctors, because local Bishop, etc., (not doctors), makes decisions @ your particular medical needs. Even if you are in surgery for something else, and doctors decide you need a particular procedure, they cannot perform in your best interests and wishes, (or even advise), because of these non-medical dictates and restrictions. Taxpayer supported Community Hospitals. @ Trauma-Rape survivor contraception treatment - denied information. Pope Francis will change the face of Catholic monolithic outreach- health care directives. Status of Women - Gov. policies - 1 hospital in a community for hundreds of miles - no transportation to access. Services offered and not offered are not listed and discussed. These are LEGAL womens health services. If No Birth Control Here were posted at these hospitals, women would go elsewhere. Patients must be informed of hospital policies before admittance.
