10 years ago I produced a limited edition book for the Flaming Lips. It is my photography and Michelle Martins photography (Michelle was Waynes long time girlfriend). There were only 1500 of these books made. All signed by the photogs and the band. There were 1500 copies of this book made plus 250 artist proofs which were given to the band, photogs, and other people involved with the project. You can occasionally find these online for between $250 and $800 each! I have 10 copies I want to let go...need to start thinning out my archives! The commentary from the band and photographers makes the book read like a movie - plenty of pictures, but not a whole LOT of dialogue! The pictures do not grow old, though, and you tend to see something different every time you open the book. The autographs at the beginning add to the books value, however, if they ever do a reprint without the autographs or limited numbering, it would be the same book.
