10 years ago today, with the help of my folks, I checked myself into Sea Cliff Rehab Facility in HB. I was at a point where I needed to make a change in my life and needed reboot how I lived my life. Today, Im 10 years sober and can not be more grateful for the treasures in my life today. Ive been lucky enough to find and marry my best friend, and blessed to have two beautiful children that have futures that are so bright--watching them day in and day out, I cant wait to see what each of theyre future has in store, very exciting. Acceptance has always been the ingredient that has allowed me to live life sober for 10 years, and with that, not allowing my ego to get in the way. If you ever spent time in the program, these are 2 words you hear often.
