100 years since the 1st World War and it seems we are already preparing for the 3rd. Did we learn nothing at all? Have we as a species finally given up all hope for lasting peace and justice? Or did we just give in to those who lust for War, injustice and power? Both creation and destruction occupy our souls but it is creation that keeps us bound together as human beings and unites us with all others and everything that surrounds us. Perhaps it is amusing to watch creation burn and party like there is no tomorrow, maybe it is entertaining to analyse the flaws in public personalities appearances, some it is said, have found happiness between the mortgage and the 2do lists, it could be that purchasing more will temporarily alleviate us of the weakness we perceive in ourselves, there is a chance that we may feel a moment of satisfaction when we win and claim supremacy but in the long term, supremacy of what? for what and for whom will this benefit and for how long will it last? Our world is not just ours, it is theirs too, the countless beings we are sacrificing for our collective vanity. We worship greed in retail temples, we freely celebrate the deaths we inflict indirectly as if false layers of separation prove our innocence, we corrupt the young with ideals that feed the ever extending black hole that is swallowing the light. but light cannot be destroyed, it must come back in another form. please light, return soon and save us from ourselves. we are lost and desperately need a new direction…
