$1000 in prizes so far! Truth is, not a day goes by without Linda Garbutt and I arguing. If one of us isnt getting thrown out, the other is leaving, and its been like that for 33 years, lol. So get in on this Legacy Songwriting Competition. Like it or not, Im leaving a legacy in Winnipeg, sort of, and Id like YOU to write a song for me. Three routes make up Confusion Corner, Route 42, Route 62 and Route 95. On the South side of Confusion Corner is the Masonic Temple representing God, and on the North side of Confusion Corner is usually an advert for diamonds. I left home 42 years ago, Ill be 62 years of age next birthday, and Ive been in a monogamous relationship with my wife, Linda Garbutt for 33 years. Add 33 + 62 = 95. That is a legacy, and its your job to write a song encapsulating these coincidental circumstances. The judges to this point will be the Riff Vandals band members and friends. The competition event location is still to be determined, but it will take place in Winnipeg. If you dont live in the area we can probably work something out.
