#100daysofthe100manliestmovies 2. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) - This has to have been where Bon Jovi got the idea of going out in a blaze of glory. 100 Bolivian soldiers to 2 wounded bank robbers. Those Bolivian soldiers sure do know how to mess up a good rogue (aka Che Guevara was killed by Bolivian soldiers). The macho pairing of Paul Newman and Robert Redford epitomizes the idea of the loveable rogue (Newman) with the steely silent type of Redford, who by the way, is one of the only guys able to pull off a decent mustache. You cant beat a great cowboy film that virtually set the tone for the best buddy genre of action films - cue Lethal Weapon, 48 Hours, Tango & Cash, Rush hour, Men in Black.... Best line: Butch: What happened to the old bank? It was beautiful. Guard: People kept robbing it. Butch: Small price to pay for beauty. rottentomatoes/m/1003318-butch_cassidy_and_the_sundance_kid/
