11 years ago today completed a journey that will forever impact my life. On this day myself, Marlon James Hanley, and Trey Michael Graham completed our journey into the wondrous band of Phi Beta Sigma, Fraternity Inc. Unlike a lot of Greeks our story doesnt end with becoming members. Since then we have all completed our degrees, participated in countless community service, and been part of a brotherhood bond that is tough to explain. In 2 months Marlon will complete Dental School at Howard University and in December I will complete my Masters in instructional design. From The University of Tampa. Our pursuit of scholarship continues. Being a sigma has introduced me to a lot of great Sigmas and non-sigmas alike. Ive met complete strangers everywhere I have gone including Afghanistan that turned into an instant connection with a few words and a handshake. After 11 years of ACTIVE and FINANCIAL membership I can truly say that the fraternity I chose to join when I was 18 years old was one of the best decisions of my life. BLUE PHI, YOU KNOW. G.O.M.A.B.
