(12) -to promote the unity and solodarity of african states -to co-ordinate and intensify their co- operattion and efforts to achieve a better life for the people of africa -to defend their sovereignty, territorial integegrity and independence -to eradicate all forms of colonialism from africa -to preserve the african personality, culture and traditions -to speak with one voice on world affairs so as to present a united front.
