It seems a daunting battle ahead and you had a very unfair trial of your case in Bloemfontein. As an outsider, and a lesbian it seems like a battle to me which might usurp much of your energy and time. Fighting for the marriage rights of gay and lesbian clergy in the Methodist church in South Africa. It is great to be a champion of the rights of minorities and to campaign for the greater good of marginalized people, but I sometimes ask myself the question: what about the individual, what about you as a person, your wellbeing and happiness? You have a beautiful name Ecclesia - the fact that you are an ordained minister in the Methodist church and your name weaved into the tapestry of that world means a lot.
