12/3/13 Praise God and Thank you all for your prayers, Linda’s surgery could not have gone better. Ephesians 6:12-13 For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with principalities, with the power, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God that you may be able to resist on evil day having done everything, to hold your ground. One of the biggest lies that the devil has told us is that we have time. He has deceived us into thinking that other things are more important than seeking out our God. How many times have you said or have you heard someone say I don’t have time to read the Bible, or I do not have time to go to church, or there is something more important than spending time in God’s presents. Make no mistake that is the devil working on you to put the world first before God. Do not be surprised by the fiery attacks on your mind. When you struggle to find God and to live in His Peace, don’t let discouragement set in. You are engaged in massive warfare, spiritually speaking. The evil one abhors your closeness to God, and his demonic underlings are determined to destroy our intimacy with God. When you find yourself in the thick of battle, call upon Him by name. “Jesus, help me!” at that instant, the battle becomes His; your role is simply to trust in God as Jesus fights for you. God’s name properly used, has unlimited Power to bless and protect. At the end of time, every knee will bow (in heaven, on earth, and under the earth), when God’s Name is proclaimed. People who have used “Jesus as a shoddy swear word will fall down in terror on that awesome day. But all those who have drawn near me through trustingly uttering His Name will be filled with inexpressible and glorious Joy. This is your great hope, as you await God’s return.
