12 years ago I was moving back to California from Oklahoma with my family! We had everything we owned packed in a tiny U-haul and my tiny ford focus including our 3 dogs and my 6 month old son! I was so tired from driving (I had never driven that far before) and cooped up that I wanted to cry, I just couldnt drive any longer! We were in Flagstaff AZ when I called Nanny to beg for the money for a motel. She knew by my blubbering that I had had enough and needed rest. She said that she would take care of it and to call her back in 20 min. (The days before cell phones) she told us that she had reserved a room in a nearby town Williams AZ. When I checked in she had rented the nicest suite they had, it even had an indoor hot tub! I have NEVER felt so special or blessed in my whole life! I wish I could tell her how much I appreciated her generosity and how special she has always made me feel! I love you Nanny, Thank you for everything!!!
