12 years ago today, I set out on a trip. I was supposed to fly out of Boston airport headed towards my connecting flight in Newark NJ. We were halfway to Boston from Brunswick ME when we heard the news that the Twin towers had been hit. Needless to say, it was almost a year later before I used those tickets. Thanks, to all those brave men and women aboard the flight that crashed into a field in PA instead of into the side of another building as planned. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten. Thank you to all of the brave men and women who served their country and died defending it so that I might be free. Thank you to all of the brave men and women who served the city of New York as fire fighters and police officers and lost their lives that day trying to save others. Lastly, I pray for all of the men, women, and children whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day. You will not be forgotten.
