12 years ago today I watched firefighters, policemen, EMS, civilians, and soldiers run into a building that they knew might come crashing down on them while others ran away. That day changed many lives including my own. I knew that I wanted to serve and protect people. Here I stand today on my way to being an Army Combat Medic and serving my country. I thank all of those who have served and those who sacrificed there lives to save another. Proud to be an American and a soldier!
