#13781 About twenty or so friends of mine from high school are pregnant or have recently had kids... some of them are upset with me for not telling them congrats. You are 19 years old, have no intention of having a relationship with the father, and you dont have a job. Sorry I dont think that deserves a congratulations. They think getting knocked up at 19 is an accomplishment that deserves recognition. If you are able to care for your child and support them, great. I plan on graduating with a degree in two years, finding a job, settling down, getting married, and then having kids. Will you all congratulate me then? I dont think so. I dont mean for this confession to hurt anyone. It is nice to see teen moms that are able to support and care for their children in a way that will cause them to have wonderful lives. I just dont see why having a baby without any thought at the age of 19 is becoming a norm..
