#1383-"Counter-view of 1376 - Yours is a rookie point of view. Here is the real deal for you which you will see 3-4 years down the line. Let me give you a simple example. A company of say 10 employees requires 6 to be on bench at any time in anticipation of upcoming business. Now here is the breakup for you 4 employees are full time - they pay them say 27k 3 employees on production bench or probation - they pay them avg 23 k 3 employees are trainees - they pay them 20 k Now you see they have the pool but they pay lower average salary at any given point. Actually they are fooling you for 5 months with low pay and no production experience. India has a pathetic undergraduate level experience as compared to the diverse US university system so we feel - wow are studying and getting paid. But what happens in reality is that statistically for 80-90% cases you wont gain production experience in the stream you were trained and given an average of 2-3 months of joining delay after graduation, you have wasted 7-8 precious months of professional life during which your peers in other companies are gaining production experience. But then people are happy making gfs/bfs, drinking and staying nice campus. Yet in conclusion - it is all part of the plan - whether you see it or not attributes to your constricted pov. Good luck!"
