(14/DEC/2014) Everyday, Guru Maharaj starts his day by hearing the Mayapur Sankirtan(book dsitribution) scores. There are ten bus parties distributing Srila Prabhupada books in Bengal, Orissa, Assam etc. Their scores were sent to Guru Maharaj every night. And Maha Puran prabhu(One among the Sankirtan devotee - now serving Guru Maharaj in Delhi) will read out the messages. Then once in two days, Guru Maharaj would send them message in Bengali. By receiving those messages, everyday they are distributing more and more. Even here in Delhi, Maha Puran prabhu collects sponsorship for Gita distribution in Hospitals, Prisons, Schools, etc, from the visitors, who are coming to take Guru Maharaj darshan. Devotees are also generously donating 50 Gitas; 100 Gitas in Guru Maharajs name. Once Guru Maharaj said, After the 8 hours shift, my servants can take the books and go and distribute in their spare time.... Guru Maharaj is in the Book Marathon fire. If any devotee or disciple would like to sponsor Gita then it is welcomed. Last year, Guru Maharaj got 5th place in distributing books. Maha Varaha prabhu said once, last year during the December month, Guru Maharaj used to carry small books with him and distribute to Air Hostess, workers, etc. Around 8am to 10am Guru Maharaj did Caitanya book work. Jaya Radha Krishna prabhu said that they just started a new chapter. Then around noon Guru Maharaj started to listen to Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakuras Sri Gauranga Lila Smarana Mangala. And Guru Maharaj was in bliss hearing those. He was hearing it for almost 1 hour. By hearing it my many questions were cleared. I was really amazed to see how Bhakti Vinoda Thakura answered my many questions in this. After that I have informed Guru Maharaj about one of his disciple, who have come from Bangalore with her colleagues to take Guru Maharajs Darshan. Guru Maharaj personally went out to see them. After seeing them, Guru Maharaj said, It is cold outside, my room has a warmer, we will go inside my room. Then they came to Guru Maharajs room. The colleague Manoj and his good wife Nishu (Who is pregnant) just got their new bead bags and started the chanting today . When Guru Maharaj heard that, he spoke on the glories of Lord Krishna and His mercy and how one can easily follow Bhakti Yoga. Like this for nearly 15 minutes he spoke. Anyhow, from the beginning they just called him GURU MAHARAJ!!!. Guru Maharaj gave blessings to everyone with Jagannath Stick. They were so happy to receive this causeless mercy. Then Guru Maharaj asked his disciple about their job descriptions. Then she said, We find the false transactions in Air tickets... (Something like that). Then Guru Maharaj said, Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakura in his Godruma Kalpatavi says, in the Holy name market there is a checker (examiner) to see how devotees are chanting... Qualitatively or not.... They left at 2pm and then Guru Maharaj started to chant his Gayathri. Then Mayadhisa Caitanya prabhu and his good wife from Sydney visited and took Guru Maharaj Darshan. They got the charan Tulasi of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath from Sydney and they gave it to Guru Maharaj. Guru Maharaj blessed them and they left to Vrindavan. Janakiram prabhu fed lunch to Guru Maharaj; after his lunch, Guru Maharaj took rest. At 6pm, Guru Maharaj woke up, made one phone call and spoke to a leader. Then physiotherapist Abhishek came. He and Ruci Rangada prabhu did some therapies for Guru Maharaj. After that Guru Maharaj came to give Srila Prabhupada class(all recorded srila prabhupada katha classes are uploaded in https://soundcloud/jpslive). At the end of the class, Guru Maharaj accepted few aspiring disciples through phone which was organized by Sironmani Mathaji. Then till 11pm Guru Maharaj had discussions on Mayapur Project with one of his disciple and went to bed at 12.00 Am while listening to Brihat Bhagavatamrita. (Personal Diary - Shyama Rasika Dasa)
