140. I could actually have posted yesterday morning that the happythings would revolve around Wendy visiting. but I wanted to wait and see what strangeness we encountered over dinner - seems we always find at least one! Last night it was Dave, who introduced himself by arriving as we were eating, dropped R50 on the table and asked if he could by two slices of my pizza! Which, seeing as I would be bringing some home as a doggy-bag, and the cost of the whole pizza was only R70 anyway, I agreed to. Ten minutes later, he established himself at our table, along with a wallet about 5cm thick, packed full of cash. One of the staff told us that he owns two restaurants and a pub, but that when he wants to misbehave he always goes to the pizzeria. He then offered Wendy R100 for the rest of her pasta, and happily wolfed that down too. He couldnt tell us why he was happy to pay more than the cost of a full meal for two small portions of ours - so we wrote it off to being just the kind of weirdness we keep meeting! And I bought two pots of mini daffodils which are covered in smiling yellow flowers, to brighten up my desk a bit. They do that and more :-) #100happydays
