150th ANNIVERSARY OF ST. LEANDER CHURCH - PEACE POLE We now have received donations & pledges in the amount of $3,195. Do you feel blessed and would like to share some of your blessings? And it’s tax deductible, too. One of the proposed projects in celebrating St. Leander Parish’s 150th Anniversary is to install a 10 foot 7-sided limestone Peace Pole in the garden area near the church’s main entrance. The pole will say “May Peace Prevail on Earth” on one side and at least 12 different languages on the remaining 6 sides. Initial estimates have priced the installed pole at $4,000 and your generous donation will help reach its fruition. Please make your check payable to St. Leander Church, indicate “Peace Pole” and mail or drop it in the collection. May the Almighty One grant you more blessings to share and reward you for your generosity.
