16 days until MILLION METER DAY! What is Million Meter Day? 1) Sarasota Scullers Athletes will attempt to row, erg, and ride, a total of ONE MILLION meters in a three-hour time span. Thats about 16k per athlete. 2) Its a super FUN-raiser for our incredible team of athletes. Have you seen them? Theyre pretty awesome. 3) Rowers are spilt into two teams. One team bicycles on the Legacy Trail and the other rows 10k to the Venice Train Depot. They meet in the middle and erg while waiting to switch for the ride back. 4) Our community sponsors our rowers in their endeavor and help us raise $$ for fast racing boats!
