16 years ago today, Rod & I got married in a beautiful, huge wedding ceremony at Big Valley Grace in Modesto. It was 109 degrees! Ceremony was almost 1 1/2 hours long (thanks Rick Countryman 😄) - ring boy started crying he got so tired; groomsman took handkerchief out of suit pocket of groomsman in front of him to wipe sweat off his face; Rod & I ended up seeing each other before the wedding started because I felt self conscious in my dress & nobody else could put me at ease. Those are all hilarious memories to us now! To us, the wedding was perfect - especially all the live, amazing music (including my own dad singing). 3 kids & 16 yrs later - Happy Anniversary, babe!
