17.07.13 Today we had a very beautiful excursion. “Our house” went to the shores of North-Sea. Weather was fantastic. Restaurant, where we first had coffee and cakes, was first class. And then the walks along the shore – so beautiful. It has been low tide, when we arrived, the sea was far away, but she was returning, when we began walking. She was still far away when I went into the mudflat, so warm, the sand so soft, so fine. I went barefoot, returned, washed my feet at a small shower place, went barefoot on hard concrete-stones, on softer tar-stripes between those stones, and on short grass. How fine it is to walk barefoot. The sea returned fast. Sunshine let glister the small, soft waves. I went again into the water. It was so warm, so soft and so low, the best for walking around, not high enough to swim. But all in all: what a wonderful day.
