18-year-old twins Emily and Caitlin Copeland, who were born conjoined at the chest, want to bring hope to parents who are facing a difficult pregnancy diagnosis. Despite the challenges they faced at birth, they are now healthy and happy co-valedictorians of their high school class. For the next chapter of their lives, they will be going off to separate colleges—the first time they will be apart for so long. In a time when parents facing similar diagnoses are frequently encouraged to abort their twins, Emily and Caitlins story is a breath of fresh air. We applaud their parents for their courage, and Good Morning America for sharing this life-affirming story!
