18th 2 3 bryansburn. A decent game a cloyne crescent saw us go in at the break with a f1 0 lead. The visitors played some lovely football in the 1st half without troubling the defence too much, on the 2 occasions they did break through scotty pulled off two smashing saves. Though it wasnt all one way traffic and on one of our few sorties forward the returning ricky moore floated in a perfect cross for gary kelly to score a trade mark header. Infact gary nearly made it 2 just before the break with another headed effort from a delightful freekick by 18ths frank lampard.. aka Simon Bennett ht 1 0 All the good defensive work was undone within 10mins of the start of the 2nd half as the burn raced into a 2 1 lead though the1st goal was clearly offside but somehow the ref allowed the goal to stand. To the credit of the team who could have easliy given up the ghost the 18th pulled their socks up and equalised from the spot with soon after. A handball in the box was deemed deliberate , probably abit harsh, but without much thought for the dubious decision soupy neill expertly despatched the ball into the top corner. From then on 18th created the better chances with ricky missing the best chance when he looked certain to score though with the clock ticking down in injury time the visitors got the winner with a near post header from a well taken corner.
